Wash and soak the rice for 1/2 hrs.
Now heat a cooker put ghee, cumin, bayleaves, cloves, cinnamon sticks, green cardamom saute for few seconds than add chopped green chilli, ginger - garlic paste and onion.
Saute them till pinkis in colour then add boiled black gram, salt, turmeric, red chilli powder and coriander powder mix well.
Now add soaked rice and saute for 5- 6 min then add 2 cups of water and close the lid take 2 whistle.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve with rayta.
